Luke 15:20

Manifested love models affection and emotion

Some cultures encourage men to be emotionless. The father demonstrated emotion to his lost son. He hugged and kissed his son. God loves to embrace His children.

It is important to show emotions to one another, especially within families.

Job 32:18-19 For I am full of pent-up words, and the spirit within me urges me on. I am like a cask of wine without a vent, like a new wineskin ready to burst!

Hugging has great medical benefits:
Hugging lowers blood pressure.
Hugging is good for the heart.
Hugging is a natural stress reliever.
Hugging strengthens the immune system.
Hugging boosts oxytocin levels (happy & bonding hormone).
Hugging boosts self-esteem.
You need 12 hugs a day for growth.

The father welcomed the son back to a place of security, no condemnation, unconditional love, success, blessing, and grace.

Be a hugger.

Manifested love reminds you of your identity.

The father reminded his child he was a son. Beloved. Well pleased. The one whom God loves. Seated in heavenly places. A child of the Most High.
